Glee returns next week from holiday break, and we happen to have acquired the scoop on where some of the couples are headed in the wake of Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) and Emma Pilsbury (Jayma Mays)’s supposed engagement in the all new January 17th episode, "Yes/No." So where does everyone not happily floating around in Finchel-land stand?
Good news for Klaine fans! Sebastian (Grant Gustin) won't be driving a wedge between Porcelain and Other Gay — as our favorite cheerleading coach likes to call them — anytime soon. "It’s actually going less in a flirtatious direction [between Blaine (Darren Criss) and Sebastian], and more of [Sebastian] just being a d*ck," Grant told TV Line. "I’m not necessarily trying to split up [Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine]."
Speaking of McKinley's best-dressed super couple, Kurt will be dedicating quite a strange tune to his boyf during the Michael Jackson tribute episode — The King of Pop's "Ben."
"I have no idea [why it was chosen], but I know it was voted the worst song in history by some group," Chris lamented. "[The song] was about a rat, but we’re singing it about Kurt’s boyfriend. I’m not sure what the connection is!" Well...every idea presented by Ryan Murphy isn't always TV gold.
Meanwhile, on the lady front, Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) is being a total Debbie Downer about Brittana's relationship, and we fear the worst for our finally happy Cheerios. "I don’t think Brittany [Heather Morris]’s in it. I don’t think Brittany’s in love with Santana [Naya Rivera]," Jane posited. "I think Santana needs a girlfriend. Brittany loves her, but Brittany’s not her girlfriend."
Start the hate-tweets as you see fit, Brittana fans. You have our permission.
And, while Becky (Lauren Potter) is crushing on Artie (Kevin McHale), he's scoring with a different McKinley High student. "Artie gets some lovin’ in the first episode back," Kevin confirms. "He goes after one lady — a current cast member, she’s not a series regular. That narrows it way down. Way down."
Thanks for subtly gesturing towards that neon sign flashing "Sugar Motta," man.
Do you approve of Artie’s potential new romantic partner? And how do you feel about the rest of the gang's future love stories?
