We’ve already heard plenty of vague teases about what might come in Glee’s fourth season — if the show were to get renewed, that is. Well, worry no longer, Glee fans. Season 4 is officially a go!

TV Line reports that Fox has officially issued an early renewal for the ratings hit comedy show, as well as fellow Tuesday nighters New Girl and Raising Hope.

Glee has continued its success as a genre-defying, global cultural phenomenon,” Fox president Kevin Reilly says. “All three of these comedies add a fresh and distinctive flavor to our Tuesday nights, and I’m really happy to bring them back to our air next season.”

But, with so many characters set to graduate from high school this season, are any of our favorites guaranteed to return? As we reported back in January, only Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), and Chris Colfer (Kurt) are confirmed as returning for Season 4.

Still, with this latest announcement of an official pickup, we’re certainly hoping that new casting confirmations won’t be far off! There are so many familiar faces we’d hate to see leave.

Plus, as of May 17, series creator Ryan Murphy confirms that all of the main characters will be back at some point during Season 4. It could be for one just episode. It could be for multiple episodes. In any case, we're just glad we haven't seen the last of them yet!
