Remember that scathingly smack-talking granny Santana (Naya Rivera) dished about in the last new episode of Glee, "Mash Off"? Um, the abuela who led the future Cheerio to believe her first name was "Garbageface" until she was six, you ask? The very same!

Yeah, well, the latest buzz is that Ryan Murphy and Co. settled on Godfather II's Ivonne Coll to fill the role. Glee producers were reportedly on the lookout for a Latin beauty to tackle playing Santana's grandmother, and this Puerto Rican actress fit the bill.

Remember, we'll see Santana confess her secret to her grandmother in this week's Episode 7, "I Kissed a Girl," so you can be sure to expect some fiery Latin passion-packed scenes. Do you think Abuela will be accepting of Santana's sexuality or is she more likely an ultra-conservative Hispanic elder who rips Santana a new one before finally coming around?

Rumor has it we'll get to meet the badass bombshell's parents soon, too, so while we're at it, who do you think should play them? (Is Sofia Vergara too young?! George Lopez too annoying?) Sound off in the comments below!
