Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron) has wanted to be prom queen for as long as she can remember. She campaigned tirelessly for the title last year, only to lose out when the entire school played an extremely cruel prank on Kurt (Chris Colfer).

In this year’s Season 3, Episode 19: “Prom-A-Saurus,” however, it looked like Quinn would finally get her chance! Not only was she once again nominated for prom queen, but her heartbreaking wheelchair injury left plenty of McKinley students more than willing to vote for her.

Sure enough, Quinn got the votes to win. However, she ended up making a decision we never saw coming. Quinn Fabray voluntarily handed over her Prom Queen crown to Rachel Berry (Lea Michele).

With her dreams of getting into NYADA seemingly crushed, Rachel had little else going for her. She’d spent this episode in despair, wondering if her life would ever amount to anything at all. Now, thanks to Quinn’s generosity, Rachel and her boyfriend, Finn(Cory Monteith), get to be Prom King and Queen.

Do you think Quinn made the right call? Did Rachel deserve to win the crown, or are you heartbroken that Quinn never got to truly fulfill her Prom Queen dream?
