Scene 2: First... the accident.
Cut to Rachel sitting in the choir room. She looks absolutely distraught. “It’s not right. I’m so, so sorry.” Does she feel responsible for Quinn’s crash? Q was only texting and driving because she was running late to Rachel’s wedding. But does that really mean Rachel is the one to blame?
Also, who is Rachel saying “I’m sorry” to? If the voiceover is really from the choir room scene as the promo makes it seem, why would she be apologizing to the New Directions? Perhaps we’re just overly hopeful, but it sounds like Quinn may be alive — and Rachel is apologizing to her in person. Or are we just getting out hopes up?
Scene 3: Now... the aftermath.
Rachel’s in the choir room again. She shakes her head in sorrow. “It shouldn’t be like this.” Be like what, Rachel?! Does this mean that Quinn is dead? Or did she somehow survive the crash, but now finds herself facing some sort of horrible lifelong injury? We never see Quinn’s face in the promo, so it seems impossible to tell! (Though, if you’re up for spoilers, we have a pretty good idea of what really happened.)
A guy rests his hands on Rachel’s shoulders in comfort. It must be Finn (Cory Monteith), right? If so, we notice that there’s no wedding ring on his finger! Did Quinn’s accident cause Finn and Rachel to call off their wedding? They appear to have postponed it, at least!
