We know we’re supposed to be floating on a Klaine love bubble too sturdy to burst, but the re-emergence of Dave Karofsky (Max Adler) in this week’s Season 3, Episode 13: “Heart,” we can't help but wonder what these two would be like together.
Even though Kurt (Chris Colfer) turned down his admirer because he's happily together with Blaine (Darren Criss), we still think there’s something between the former foes. Sure, Blaine and Kurt are the wunder-couple of the century and Kurt deserves the sexiest boyfriend on the planet, but we know there's an itty bitty sect of fans who are championing a fresh (and romantic) start for the reformed bully and the always sweet Kurt.
Believe it or not, Chris Colfer is one of them. “I think it’s a great idea,” the Glee star told TV Line recently of the potential ‘ship.” I think people love Kurt and Blaine so much that they would never stray from that. But maybe if Blaine and Kurt take a break [a Kurt and Karofsky romance] would be a great alternative. I would like to see that happen.”
Before you start an uprising, just think about it: Kurt could be Karofsky’s positive gay example, coaxing him out of his ugly, self-loathing closet. And, really, how realistic is it that Kurt and Blaine go on to live a perfectly fashionable and drama-free existence together? This is high school, y’all.
