Glee Season 3, Episode 15 may not be airing for another full week, but the cast is already busy filming four episodes down the road.

Lea Michele (Rachel) and Co. are hard at work on the Season 3, Episode 19 senior class prom, which is rumored to be titled “Prom-A-Saurus.” (And yes, that does imply a dinosaur theme. Crazy, right!?)

On April 2, Damian McGinty (Rory) excited tweeted, “Today, I am attending my first ever prom. :)” Aww. Can you imagine what Rory will look for his big day? We already know this guy can wear the heck out of a suit, that’s for sure!

However, there’s one guy returning for the McKinley prom who we weren’t necessarily expecting: Mercedes’ (Amber Riley) ex-boyfriend, Shane (LaMarcus Tinker)!

On April 2, LaMarcus tweeted this photo of his snazzy suit-and-tie combo, writing, “Glee Prom:)! Love being with the family!:)” We notice he’s got a boutineer pinned to his suit. Does that mean the sweet football player has a date?

He and Mercedes did break up... right? Unless they get back together sometime before prom?

Furthering the mystery even more, Glee behind-the-scenes video creator Kalen tweeted that Mercedes will share at least one dance with Sam (Chord Overstreet)! But does that confirm that Samcedes will go to prom together? Not necessarily.

Kalen also wrote that Mercedes’ dress will be colored purple, and added, “I'm at the McKinley prom right now. Everyone looks super fancy and @MsAmberPRiley looks like a Disney princess. #glee”

A fan named Nicole who drove past the Glee set reported that she saw the McKinely guys “playing football on the field in their dress suits on break.” She also added coyly, “@chordoverstreet was looking good in purple ;)”

Wait, Sam and Mercedes are both wearing purple to prom? Sounds like they might be going together after all!

Though, given her winking smiley face — and the fact that the prom has a dinosaur theme — part of us is hoping Sam decides to ditch his tux and go to the prom in a giant Barney the Dinosaur costume. (Is it going to happen? Probably not. But still, wouldn’t that be something!)
