Later in Season 3, expect to see quite a few new students showing up at McKinley high. But before you start thinking that Glee is getting yet another main character, worry not.

TVLine has the scoop that Glee is currently casting a pack of middle-agers to play night school students.

Hmm! Sounds like one of our favorite kiddos might be putting in overtime on their education...

We already know that Rachel (Lea Michele), Finn (Cory Monteith), Santana (Naya Rivera), Kurt (Chris Colfer), Quinn (Dianna Agron), Puck (Mark Salling) and Mike (Harry Shum Jr.) are preparing to graduate at the end of this season, so it seems unlikely that they’d be thrown into night school this late in the game ― UNLESS, of course, somebody discovers they are missing some credits from along the way... (Which would be potentially devastating to, say, someone like Rachel Berry ― can you even imagine her reaction??).

OR, perhaps someone is hoping to move on from high school at the same time as their respective love interest? We know that Blaine (Darren Criss) is a junior, but what if he’s the one taking night classes, in order to graduate alongside Kurt, so they could pursue the future together! (Collective SQUEEE!)

But it’s perhaps more (and most?) likely that the missing credits belong to Sam (Chord Overstreet), who’s just made his return to school. The poor kid just finished a stint working a strip club to support his family ― he’s more than justified in making up the difference when it comes to schoolwork...
