Will Kurt (Chris Colfer) be auditioning for NYADA again this winter? Based on a recent scoop from a Glee fan, it’s starting to look that way.
A Glee fan named Colleen tweeted that she happened to be having lunch at the Disney Center cafe in L.A. — aka the filming location of NYADA’s infamous Round Room — when she serendipitously overheard both Lea Michele (Rachel) and Chris Colfer singing on the premises! Three words: Greatest. Lunch. Ever.
Colleen made it clear that Lea and Chris were each singing individually, and when she was asked which songs they were, Colleen tweeted:
Granted, “O Holy Night” was included on the album of Christmas songs that Glee released during Season 2, but the song has yet to make it onto an episode, so it’s rumored that it will finally be used during the Season 4, Episode 9" "Swan Song." In other words, Colleen’s story appears to check out.
But what to make of the fact that Glee was filming at the Disney Center concert hall? We’re wondering if the use of a stage suggests that Kurt might in fact be re-auditioning for NYADA this winter, given that Chris recently tweeted that he was filming a scene with Whoopi Goldberg, who plays Carmen Tibideaux.
Or maybe Kurt is just there to support Rachel, and then he sings a “Being Alive” — from the musical Company — for a different reason. Who knows! All we know right now is that, even though we love that Kurt has found a position at Vogue that makes him happy, it still would be pretty darn perfect if he and Rachel are both going to NYADA at the same time.
Then again, maybe Kurt can attend NYADA and pursue fashion? Translation: Don’t make us choose!
