We learned in Glee Season 4, Episode 4: "The Break-Up" that Blaine (Darren Criss) "was with someone" while he was still dating Kurt (Chris Colfer). (And yes, we're still curled up in the fetal position about it.) But what we don't exactly know is how far Blaine and Eli got. So... did they have sex or didn't they?

Darren Criss tells TV Line that he had to come up with "his own theory" on whether Blaine had sex with Eli because the show's producers never made him 100% clear on that. "It’s very open-ended,” Darren admits. “We don’t know who this person is or what this decision was."

Gah! So that's all we're getting? Just that it was open-ended? C'mon, Darren  we need more info than that! Then again, Rachel (Lea Michele) made it a point to tell Finn (Cory Monteith) that she only kissed Brody (Dean Geyer), so it's probably safe to assume that if Blaine only kissed Eli, he would have told Kurt that.

Regardless of what really happened, Darren hopes that Kurt and Blaine will continue to play important roles in each other's lives, even if they do split up. "I would love to see them be a part of each other’s future relationships," Darren says. "If Kurt meets someone new and they are having some problems, I hope Blaine is the person that Kurt calls and says, ‘This is really tough for me.’ And vice-versa. If Blaine meets somebody, he goes to Kurt."

Darren adds that it would be realistic for Kurt and Blaine to split up but still not forget what they once had. "That happens in real life with all kinds of relationships," Darren continues. "You create a bond with somebody and regardless of what happens, in the end the bond is there for the rest of your life. And I think that’s an excellent message to show young people: The end doesn’t mean it’s the end. It’s just a new chapter."

Sure, this is a nice sentiment, but we still can't handle what Darren seems to be trying to tell us: That Klaine is in fact a thing of the past. Ugh! Someone please tell us that this isn't the case and that we can finally come out of the fetal position. (The fetal position is not super-comfortable.)
