Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts, along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 4, Episode 8: “Thanksgiving,” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. Do you agree with our picks?

Best Performance of the Night: “Homeward Bound”/“Home”

It was a competition episode, meaning plenty of killer performances, including a great Unholy Trinity number and the awesomeness of “Let’s Have a Kiki”/”Turkey Lurkey Time.” Still, we couldn’t have imagined a better way to bring so many of our favorite McKinley grads back together than the stripped-down “Homeward Bound”/“Home,” with all those amazing voices coming together. Home sweet home, indeed!

Worst Performance of the Night: “Whistle” by the Warblers

Was “Gangnam Style” the best New Directions performance we’ve ever seen at Sectionals? No, although we’re trying not to look a gift horse (dance) in the mouth. Still, we can’t help but get creeped out by watching the Warblers’ “Whistle.” They do a decent job with the song, but was it appropriate for a high school choir competition? We have to blow the whistle on the skeeviness of that one.
