Now that last season’s seniors have graduated from McKinley High and are off starting their new lives — in cities all across the country, at that — we simply won’t get the chance to see all of them in every episode.
Of course, producers have already assured us that Rachel (Lea Michele) will be in every episode. And Kurt (Chris Colfer) seems like he, too, will be in quite a few. But you can prepare to see a lot less of their former classmates in the weeks to come.
FOX has now released its official summary of Glee’s Season 4 premiere, “The New Rachel,” and the cast list of the episode lets us know exactly which seniors will be back for the first episode of the season. So who’s in, and who’s out?

Mike (Harry Shum Jr.)
So why no Quinn, Finn, or Mike in the premiere? Well, Dianna is still off in France filming her new movie. Cory isn’t expected back until Episode 4, but when he does return, he’s said to be back for good. Finn is definitely still going to have a strong presence in Season 4. Not much word on Mike’s return just yet, but Harry told us recently that Mike could have some “temptation” at Joffrey, and he’s not sure what that will look like for the future of Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Mike.
Which of the graduated seniors are you most looking forward to seeing return?
