So far on Glee, we’ve heard very little about Blaine‘s (Darren Criss) life before he entered Dalton Academy; and for good reason. Blaine’s experiences before he transferred to the famously tolerant private school aren’t anything that he’d care to relive.

Right after he came out at his first school, Blaine went to a Sadie Hawkins dance with another gay friend, and the two were attacked and beat up by bullies as they waited for their ride home at the end of the night.

Blaine might not want to face his past, but it’s going to come back and haunt him. Glee creator Ryan Murphy held a Twitter Q&A with fans on November 2, and he revealed that things will get very emotional for Blaine during Season 4, Episode 11.

Q: Will there be a Sadie Hawkins episode where you focus on Blaine’s past with bullying?
Ryan: Sadie Hawkins episode is number 11. Fans got their wish!

Q: No, we wanted to know about Blaine's Sadie Hawkins past, not have the new girls ask out their crushes.
Ryan: That's all happening in the episode.

One: This whole thing sounds crazy intense. Two: we can’t help but wonder who — if anyone — will Blaine ask to McKinley’s Sadie Hawkins dance? (Wait. Don’t tell us. We’re not sure we want to know the answer!)
