Glee’s hottest new character Brody (Dean Geyer) might seem like the most suave guy ever, but we’ll be finding out that the character was actually a dorky outcast in his younger days. In other words, he was a lot like all the other characters on the show!
Dean Geyer spoke to E! Online, telling them that Brody falls for Rachel immediately. “He digs her in all sorts of ways,” Dean says, in that he’s attracted to her physically as well as the fact that she’s so excited about performing. Dean also makes it clear that Brody “definitely does some wooing.” Sounds like Brody is a man of action.
Although Dean says that Brody is now an accomplished actor and performer and can even be a bit “arrogant,” he wasn’t always so smooth. Dean fills us in on more of Brody’s backstory, explaining that the character is from Montana and used to be “dorky” and “an outcast.” Come to think of it, that sounds a tad like Finn as well. We’re thinking that Rachel definitely has a type!
And Dean says that he was more than a little starstruck when he first met Kate Hudson, which happened to be five seconds before they started shooting a scene together. Dean says, “I started to get a twitch in my face because I was so nervous,” and he says that we’ll be able to notice it if we look at his face when the episode airs! We’ll try to look for it — that is, if we can take our eyes off his hot bod for a moment or two.
