If you’ve seen the previews for next week’s Glee Season 4, Episode 4 “The Break-Up,” then you know that all hell is about to break loose. The fate of every major couple on the show hangs in the balance — and one or more couples will be broken up by the end of the night.
And while the futures of both Klaine and Brittana seem much more uncertain at this point, we actually do have a final verdict on the state of Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn’s (Cory Monteith) relationship post-Episode 4.
Finchel shippers, you may need to sit down for this. No, seriously. Are you sitting down?
Glee executive producer Brad Falchuk tells TV Line that Finchel’s “quasi-breakup” of the Season 3 finale will be made official. Oddly enough, though, he says, "What happens to them and the way they end it is actually kind of fresh."
Fresh or not, he just confirmed that Finn and Rachel will be breaking up. And we’re really not sure how we feel about that quite yet. On one hand, the idea of seeing one of Glee’s greatest power couples end their relationship feels sort of heartbreaking.
On the other hand... Brody (Dean Geyer). We’re just going to leave it at that. Brody.
