Will (Matthew Morrison) is off in DC lobbying for arts education, leaving former co-captain Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) in charge. With this huge change of leadership, it would seem that the glee club is heading in a new direction. (Yeah we did. And we’re not sorry, either.)
But is this a permanent change?
Not according to TVLine’s Michael Ausiello, who says he’ll only be gone for “a handful of episodes.” We don’t know exactly how long Mr. Shue will be away, but we can expect it to be “long enough for Finn to get comfortable filling in for Will as choir director — a little too comfortable, if you know what I mean,” Ausiello hints.
According to executive producer Brad Falchuk: “there may be a little competition between [Will and Finn].” Friendly competition we hope! We’d hate to see the bromance/father-son bond between those two crumble over a silly power struggle!
