Kurt (Chris Colfer) will have plenty of things to be happy about during Glee’s upcoming Season 4 Christmas episode. He has great friends in New York City, a spacious apartment — and both his dad and his ex-boyfriend, Blaine (Darren Criss), will be visiting him over the holidays.

However, not everything will be great for Kurt this holiday season. Glee creator Ryan Murphy held a Twitter Q&A on November 5, and he revealed that the holiday season will bring back memories of Kurt’s mother, and the tragedy of her death. Here’s a look at Ryan’s recent flurry of Glee scoop.

Q: Are we going to find out anything about Kurt's mom during Christmas?

Q: When is the next Klaine duet? 
Ryan: Christmas.

Q: Any more sexy Brody scenes? 
Ryan: Lots more coming up! #shirtlessdancingscenes

Q: Is Glee ever going to be funny again? I miss the humor.
Ryan: Yes. The next bunch of episodes are very funny.
