More rumors are surfacing about Glee’s Season 4 premiere, and we should all get ready to shed buckets of tears when the episode airs on Thursday! Then again, is it really surprising when Glee is sob-inducing? We think not.
TV Line reveals that Rachel (Lea Michele) will end the season premiere in tears, which will somehow be related to tough times in the Big Apple. Though we know Rachel will immediately butt heads with her dance instructor Cassandra, but we’re thinking these tears will be Finn (Cory Monteith)-related. All we know for sure is, the scene is going to be so sad that we’re all going to end up in tears along with Rachel! Gulp.
Things will also get emotional for Kurt (Chris Colfer). He’ll start the episode working at the Lima Bean (can’t wait to see him in that barista outfit!), which he doesn’t enjoy. So Blaine encourages him to head off to New York City, leading to a send-off with his beloved dad Burt (Mike O’Malley) that is also guaranteed to turn us into a weepy mess, according to E! Online. Sounds like we better grab a second box of Kleenex, just to be safe!
We’ll also get some heart-string tugging courtesy of Glee new girl Marley (Melissa Benoist). Marley’s backstory is said to be extremely touching and will really make us root for her. Plus, The Hollywood Reporter reveals that she’ll have an adorable family member who is very likable and almost Burt Hummel-esque.
And that’s music to our ears, since the only thing better than Burt Hummel — aka the greatest parent in the entire world — are two Burt Hummels.
