Is more bad news on the horizon for Glee’s Finn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel (Lea Michele)? It sure sounds that way, as Cory Monteith tells Access Hollywood that things in Season 4 will be “tough” for the couple. So if you had high hopes for those two, you may want to sit down.

“I don’t think it’s gonna be what people expect,” Cory says about Finchel’s relationship in Season 4. “I think it’s gonna be south of what’s expected,” he says. And if you ask us, that is south of a good answer!

We know that Rachel will be struggle with being on her own at NYADA, where she’ll face a demanding dance instructor in Kate Hudson’s Cassandra July. And she’ll also be dealing with what Finn meant by “setting her free,” and whether she’s allowed to date new guys. Apparently, this “freedom” will last longer than we had hoped!

But does Rachel being in NYC mean that we might be seeing Finn in the Big Apple as well? “I hope so,” Cory says. Phew at least he’s providing us with a teensy bit of hope!
