We already know that Rachel (Lea Michele) is in for a rude awakening when she meets her NYADA dance instructor Cassandra July (Kate Hudson) in Glee’s  Season 4 premiere.

However, dealing with a harsh new teacher isn’t the only obstacle that Rachel will face after moving to NYADA this year. TV Line’s Michael Ausiello moderated the Glee panel at Comic-Con 2012, and he says that he overheard some talk that there will be other things making Rachel’s transition from Ohio to NYC “rough,” as well.

One of the most-asked fan questions about Season 4 is if Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) will stay together, especially now that we know they’ll be doing things long-distance. Ausiello wouldn’t give away any specifics, but he did offer that he thinks fans will “have a pretty good idea where things stand with them by the end of the Sept. 13 season premiere.”

All of these lingering cliffhangers are killing us!

On to casting news. When Glee producers announced at Comic-Con that Damian McGinty (Rory) would not be back for Season 4, they left things slightly open by saying that he could always potentially come back next year

But — is this very likely? Aussiello doesn’t think so, saying: “Sounds to me like the decision is pretty final. ”There’s a lot more hope for Grant Gustin (Sebastian), though. “Discussions are happening. I hear the show would very much like him back in some capacity.”

Now that is a piece of information we can get excited about! Because, honestly, those other bits of scoop were getting a bit depressing.
