Glee creator Ryan Murphy recently teased that Glee was planning a mystery wedding, and based on his most recent Twitter photo — it looks like he’d like us to believe that Brittany (Heather Morris) and Sam (Chord Overstreet) are the ones tying the knot!

On November 2, Ryan tweeted a photo that of Britt and Sam standing side by side at McKinley. He’s dressed in a smart black tux and matching corsage. She’s wearing a gorgeous white gown with a crown of flowers.

So what gives: Are Britt and Sam really about to become husband and wife? Rumors have been flying for months that these two might start dating. Now that Santana (Naya Rivera) has dumped Britt, we figured that dating might actually be a possibility. But marriage? Doesn’t it seem a little soon?

Here’s something else to think about. Glee is currently filming it’s Season 4 Christmas episode. Ryan already revealed that there would be a big mystery wedding happening this Valentine’s Day, so we at first assumed that this Christmas wedding must be nothing but a fakeout. Then, during a Twitter Q&A on November 5, a fan asked Ryan when that "wedding of the year" will be happening. He replied, "Christmas. Can't wait!"

Still, we remain a bit skeptical that there really is a legit wedding about to go down. If Britt and Sam were getting married... do you really think it would take place in what looks to be the McKinley High locker room? The photo seems to be channeling the famous wedding scene from the Christmas film Love Actually. Perhaps the New Directions are simply re-enacting the film, and there's no true wedding involved?

We’re sure there’s a perfectly logical explanation for what’s going on here that has nothing to do with Sam and Brittany swapping “I dos.” We just have no idea what it is yet!
