We were prepared for one or more couples to split during Glee Season 4, Episode 4: “The Break-Up.” But we weren't prepared to have to deal with the harsh reality that cheating would play such a big part in more than one of the breakups.

We’d seen Episode 3: “Makeover,” so we knew that Rachel (Lea Michele) had already cheated on Finn (Cory Monteith) by inviting Brody (Dean Geyer) over for dinner... and then proceeding to make out with him on her apartment floor. (Though, considering that Finn and Rachel hadn't spoken in four months — and given that the status of their relationship seemed so unclear anyway — “cheating”  might be a bit of an intense word to describe what actually went on.)

Santana (Naya Rivera) also copped to exchanging flirty smiles and glances with a girl in her college library, but this “exchange of energy” doesn’t seem like it qualifies as actual cheating to us.

However, there is one Glee character who most certainly did cheat on his significant other: Blaine (Darren Criss). During a tearful scene in an NYC park late at night, Blaine admitted to not just kissing, but hooking up with some guy named Eli.

Look, we get that Kurt (Chris Colfer) has been kind of distant lately. But Blaine actually hooked up with someone else? We’re still sort of just standing here motionless, numbed by total shock.

Yet, while Finchel and Brittana both seem totally kaput, Kurt and Blaine haven’t officially broken up. (It’s kind of hard to end things if one of you won’t even pick up his phone, after all.)

Would you forgive Blaine, or do you consider his indiscretion to be totally unforgivable. Because we love Blaine. We really do. But what he did to Kurt just really, really wasn’t right.
