Originally, we thought this photo meant that Quinn (Dianna Agron) and Blaine (Darren Criss) were playing Danny and Sandy in Glee’s Grease performance in the very same ep. It turns out that’s not the case! Which begs the question: why exactly are Quinn and Blaine — wait: or maybe Dianna and Darren? — looking so cuddly in this photo, anyway? Hmm...
Update: Look's like the photo was a fake-out! Based on these new photos, we'd say that Sam and Mercedes are the real Danny and Sandy!
It appears Blaine (Darren Criss) and Quinn (Dianna Agron) really are playing Danny and Sandy in Glee’s upcoming tribute to the movie, Grease.
On December 13, Dianna Agron tweeted this adorable photo of her and Darren looking quite cozy on the Glee set. “Today at the pool. You would think we were filming a classic movie with @DarrenCriss! #thinkofapitch” she wrote.
Classic movie? Not so much. But Darren and Dianna as Danny and Sandy singing Grease’s “Summer Lovin’” would create a classic moment, for sure!
We caught the first on-set photos of the Glee cast in costume for Grease last week, though we still weren’t sure at that point who the starring actors would be.
So now we're curious: Would you be excited to see Quinn and Blaine in the leading roles, or were you hoping for someone else?
