We can't believe how much Rachel (Lea Michele) has changed since Glee first blessed us with its TV presence, but now it looks like she's finally getting back to her roots! And thank goodness, because there's only so much a gleek can take.

Remember back in the good ol' days when Rachel was a headband-wearing mega nerd who spent her free time wiping slushies off her face? Sigh, those were the days. But then Rachel morphed into a total diva, broke up with her beyond perfect boyfriend, moved to New York, and started dating Brody (Dean Geyer) v who may or may not be a prostitute/drug mule. Oh, and let's not forget about the fact that Rachel's currently baking a bun in her lady oven, which is all kinds of traumatizing for everyone (but mostly us).

Ryan Murphy has some serious explaining to do about Rachel's story arc, but the good news? She'll turn her life around and start focusing on what matters with the help of Santana (Naya Rivera)!

"For me, I was really interested in that idea of the single girl in New York trying to figure it out and I wanted something that would jolt her, good or bad, back to her core," Murphy told TV Guide during PaleyFest. "She and Santana have a really big story about that where Santana is like, 'What the hell happened to you?' which I think happens to a lot of people right out of high school. They waver from their dream a little bit and Santana's job is to sort of get her back on the right track."

We're not sure how Rachel will be able to follow her dreams if she's preparing for motherhood, but maybe it's time for her to make some changes. Girlfriend doesn't have to be famous in order to be successful, so perhaps she'll find true happiness Gleeking up a storm with Finn (Cory Monteith) back at McKinley High? Either way, we're relieved that our Queen B is back on track!
