Ryan Murphy confirms to TV Guide that the one, the only, the ELTON is unavailable to play either of the high-profile roles because of his busy touring schedule. Wah wah! Though John has long-been rumored (and hoped!) to be in contention for the slot, Murphy assures fans that the parts are highly sought-after, and casting is currently underway!
"I had no idea when I sent out word to a couple of agents that there would be so much interest, but there is." Ryan told TV Guide, adding, "So many people are interested in playing them."
Who will land the coveted roles? There are sooo many possibilities! We’ll just have to wait and see...
In the meantime, Ryan has confirmed that the highly-anticipated unveiling of the duo will land in late February or early March!
