The stars of Glee are famous for their love of reality TV. Lea Michele (Rachel) and Chris Colfer (Kurt) can’t get enough of the Real Housewives series, and Becca Tobin (Kitty) is basically obsessed with The Bachelor.
Now, TV Line breaks the news that one of the Glee stars of will be hosting a reality show of her own this summer. Too bad its not exactly the Real Housewives sort of drama. Instead, Jane Lynch (Sue) has been chosen to host a brand new reality game show on NBC.
Jane’s new show, Hollywood Game Night, is an eight-episode series that will likely premiere in late summer. The show will bring together a number of A-list celebrities to hang out and play games with a group of lucky non-celebrity contestants in what is described as a “cocktail party atmosphere.”
“With Jane Lynch on board as our host, we now have a key component in place that will further enliven the sheer fun of a raucous Hollywood party that will include real everyday people,” NBC reality boss, Paul Telegdy said.
“Her exuberant wit and ability to think quickly will be the perfect match for our show which will give viewers a fresh look inside the off-set lives of their favorite celebrities — and allow them a chance to win money as well.”
Wait, so the contestants on the show get to win money, party with celebrities, and rub shoulders with the hilarious and flawless Jane Lynch? This is a real thing?!
Tell us where to sign up. Tell us now. We are on board. No questions asked.
