Despite some critics being rather, well, critical of Glee's sophomore season, our favorite musical comedy raked in some serious Emmy nominations this year. There are three repeat nominations from last year: The show itself for Outstanding Comedy; Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) — who won last year — for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, and Chris Colfer (Kurt) for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (he's one of only two non-Modern Family actors to break into the category this year).

The show also earned three Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series nominations, for Kristin Chenoweth (April Rhodes), Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Beiste), and, of course, Gwyneth Paltrow (Holly Holliday).

Sadly, Lea Michele (Rachel) and Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester) did not receive nominations again this year. It's a good thing this isn't happening on the show — we would hate to see Rachel freak out over being snubbed.
