Glee last took on a One Direction song when they performed “What Makes You Beautiful” during Season 3 prom. During Thursday’s Glee Season 4, Episode 8: “Thanksgiving,” they tackled another one.

The Warblers performed 1D’s newest hit, “Live While We’re Young,” during this year’s Sectionals. Now, Grant Gustin (Sebastian) is no Harry Styles when it comes to to a perfectly-styled mane of hair that has just the right amount of carefree swoosh... but the strength of his charisma and stage presence is still pretty hard to beat.

And did you see those Warbler dance moves? Pretty intense. We’ve always been suckers for a good Warbler number, and “Live While We’re Young” just might be one of our favorites yet.

Hunter (Nolan Gerard Funk) and the Warbler’s performance of Flo Rida’s borderline-creepy “Whistle” was decidedly meh, but we could watch Sebastian lead the Warblers in a cheerful pop number any day.

Of course, it’s pretty hard to beat 1D’s original version of the song. Their official “Live While We’re Young” music video is full of cute hijinks, silly camping shenanigans, and lots of flawless boy band hair.

Asking you to choose between 1D and the Warblers is like demanding that you pick between cookies and ice cream — its a decision no one should have to make. But if you did have to pick, who would it be? Do the blazers beat the British boy band, or will 1D always win out?
