Chris Colfer (Kurt) just wrapped up the book tour for his first novel, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell, less than two weeks ago, and it turns out he already has second book about to hit shelves.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Chris’s second novel will appear in bookstores on November 20. Yes, as in less than three months away. Does this man ever sleep?

The Glee star’s latest literary endeavor is actually based off his movie Struck By Lightning, the indie flick Chris both wrote and stars in, which is opening in theaters later this year. Titled Struck By Lightning: The Carson Phillips Journal, the young adult book will serve as an extension of the story told in Chris’s film.

"When production wrapped, I wasn’t ready to say good-bye to these characters,” Chris says in Little Brown Books’s release about the novel. “I felt the best way to tell Carson’s story was through his critical eyes in a journal.” He calls the new book a "a story about adolescence, told through the eyes of a teenager, for other teenagers.”

With any luck, we’re expecting another smash hit. The Land of Stories made it to #1 on The New York Times bestsellers list for children’s chapter books this week. Congrats to Chris on succeeding at... well, pretty much every single thing possible under the sun.
