Glee’s Darren Criss Gets Political — Barack Obama or Mitt Romney: Which Candidate Gets His Vote?

It should be no surprise that Glee star Darren Criss (Blaine) is aware of the social and political issues up for debate in this year’s election. After all, he plays a gay character on the hit show — and he just won the election for President at McKinley!

Being a political animal is no strange thing for Glee stars. Naya Rivera (Santana Lopez) and Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray) have both partnered with GLAAD and Darren has worked alongside other celebrities to Rock the Vote. In his latest WhoSay post, Darren salutes social justice and makes it clear where his vote is going — to Obama.

He’s not the first Gleek to support Barack. Castmates Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Dianna have both tweeted their views on the election, with Lea using the hashtag #obviouslyobama2013.
