We love a little rivalry with our primetime television, but sometimes it’s nice to take a break, stretch our arms, and fangirl. Lucky for us (and their millions of followers), The X Factor’s Demi Lovato and Glee starlet Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) agree completely.

On Glee’s super-emotional “The Break-Up” episode last week, Lea sang a duet (with hot co-star Dean Geyer (Brody Weston)) of Demi’s chart-topping single “Give Your Heart a Break.” Turns out it was the only song in the whole episode that didn’t make fans pen angry letters to producers or cry hate tears.

Although she was probs watching her own show when the episode aired, Demi gave Lea a little love on Twitter today, gushing, “Thanks @msleamichele for covering my song on Glee! You were amazing!!!”

The lovely Lea quickly responded, equally lovey-dovely, with “@ddlovato thanks girl!!! I'm begging them to let me do Skyscraper but no one can sing that song like you!!!! :)”

Sounds like it’s about time for these two to make some symbiotic guest appearances. Lea would be great giving diva lessons on TXF and Demi could pop into the Glee star’s New York life as a rival triple threat (Camp Rock was totally robbed at the Oscars) they could even sing a duet of "Skyscraper!"

Attention FOX producers — Genius plans happening here!
