After Glee airs its Season 3 finale on May 22, we’ll be headed into a long summer without our favorite show. Luckily, The Glee Project 2 will have its season premiere just two weeks later, so we won’t have to be without something Glee-related for long. However, with the motherseries does come back this fall for its much-talked about Season 4, fans are in for a big scheduling change.

Better re-arrange your social schedule for Fall 2012, because your Tuesday nights just got a whole less busy: Glee is officially moving to Thursdays this fall. On top of that, the show will now air at 9pm instead of 8pm.

What do you think of the scheduling switch-up? Thursday nights puts Glee right after The X Factor (and later, American Idol) on FOX, so it’s a logical new place for the network. But what about all the other good shows on Thursday night? Between The Vampire Diaries, Grey’s Anatomy, and more, there’s some pretty good TV in that timeslot.
