Glee's Naya Rivera Working on Solo Album

Naya Rivera (Santana) is the latest Glee name you can expect to see on the racks at your local Best Buy. Joining the ranks of Matthew Morrison (Will), Mark Salling (Puck) and Amber Riley (Mercedes), our favorite TV “Lebanese” has just inked a deal to work on a solo project with Columbia Records, as confirmed by Billboard.

After providing background vocals throughout Season 1, Naya stepped up her game in Glee Season 2, playing a much larger role and taking the lead on a slew of songs — included Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie” and “Back to Black.” If her solo venture is anything like that of the soulful Brit’s (*fingerscrossed!*), then we’re totes on board.

As for the other Glee cast members (*cough*Lea Michele*cough*): We’re waiting!
