Is there a better way to enjoy the holidays than by listening to all our favorite holiday Glee tunes over and over? We think not! So we decided to celebrate this festive time of year by ranking our top six favorite Glee holiday tunes ever. It’s the most wonderful day countdown list of the year!

6. “Extraordinary Merry Christmas” by Rachel and Blaine (Season 3, Episode 9: “Extraordinary Merry Christmas”)

Rachel (Lea Michele) and Blaine (Darren Criss) give a stellar duet on this original Glee song from the episode of the same name. Just one listen to this catchy tune and it will stick in your head almost as long as candy cane residue will stick to your hands. In fact, just getting to see Blaine in that snazzy gray jacket with red elbow patches alone would be enough to get this song on the list. How the tune didn’t become an instant holiday classic, we’ll never know.

5. “White Christmas” by Kurt and Blaine (Season 4, Episode 10: “Glee, Actually”)

Okay, so maybe we don’t love this Klaine duet quite as much as a certain other one on this list. Still, this holiday classic makes great use of their voices, and it also provides a chance to finally see the two of them smiling together. And if that doesn’t earn its place on this list, then we don’t know what does.

4. “Christmas Wrapping” by Brittany (Season 3, Episode 9: “Extraordinary Merry Christmas”)

Sometimes you’re in the mood for a little silliness amidst the holiday stress, and nothing provides that faster than Brittany (Heather Morris) and the glee girls, wearing in Santa hats and twirling streamers. Brittany gives an energetic performance, and it’s so cute watching her sit down on a loveseat with Santana (Naya Rivera) at the end of the song. What we wouldn’t give to see the two of them on a loveseat together this season. Sigh.

3. “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mercedes (Season 3, Episode 9: “Extraordinary Merry Christmas”)

So much tinsel! Not only is it a blast to watch everyone play with decorations during this song, but we love Mercedes(Amber Riley) stunning vocals. (Translation: Mariah, eat your heart out.) And we also adore watching Mercedes pull Sam (Chord Overstreet) in close after draping tinsel around his neck. Come to think of it, one thing we want for Christmas is for Samcedes to get back together. That’s on you, Santa!

2. “Last Christmas” by Rachel and Finn (Season 2, Episode 10: “A Very Glee Christmas”)

Now that we’re currently enduring a Finchel break-up in Season 4, do we really need to be reminded of the last one? Well, probably not. However, while “Last Christmas” is sad, those harmonies and the emotion in the voices are undeniable. We just wish Finn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel would get back together already to save us from tears.

1. “Baby It’s Cold Outside” by Kurt and Blaine (Season 2, Episode 10: “A Very Glee Christmas”)

Was there really any suspense as to what would take the top spot? Klaine has had a number of duets, and we’ve loved them all, but none have ever compared to this magical and completely romantic performance, complete with those adorable matching blazers. No one’s heart could possibly stay “cold” after watching this performance provided you can ignore those borderline-creepy lyrics.
