Happy 27th Birthday, Amber Riley — See Her Adorable Baby Photo!
Today, February 15, 2013, Glee's Amber Riley (Mercedes) turns 27 years old. To mark her big day, Amber took to Twitter to post an adorable snapshot of herself as a little girl.
"I was in kindergarten when I took this picture!" Amber shares. "That morning I was so excited about taking class pictures I was dancing and singing and not paying attention and I fell down the stairs hard on my face. If you look close you can see the scar."
Um, ouch! "I cried my eyes out, on the way to school, when I actually got there, while I waited in line to take the picture BUT when I got in that chair in front of the camera I couldn’t help but smile. I immediately got happy LOL My mother could not believe it. My eyes are puffy and my lip is swollen in this picture but I still turned it on LOL I thank GOD for my life, I am living my dream and the best is yet to come! Woohoo!"
Congrats to Amber on 27 beautiful years of a life. We loved seeing her on Glee this week, and we hope to see her back again soon!
