Obviously, we were ecstatic when Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) finally kissed on Glee! (Translation: What took so friggin’ long?) But how did the rest of the cast react to seeing the kiss? Fortunately, Hollyscoop asked several cast members that very question at Glee’s PaleyFest 2011 panel to find out who else — besides us — has been diagnosed with Klaine fever.

As it turns out, everyone is with us. Cory Monteith (Finn) calls the kiss “awesome,” and feels that it was “done incredibly well.” He’s also thankful that the producers didn’t make us wait much longer for it to happen. Amen to that.

Matthew Morrison (Mr. Schuester) describes the kiss as “special” and beautifully done,” pointing out that the first time he had actually seen the kiss was when he watched the episode the night it aired. (We guess he’s not one of those actors who refuses to watch himself onscreen!) As for his favorite relationship on the show right now, Matthew says it’s Kurt and his father Burt (Mike O’Malley). How can you not love Burt Hummel?

Kevin McHale (Artie) agrees that it was “their turn.” Plus, he points out that the timing was impeccable, as one couple on the show typically has a big moment around the time of each singing competition. Guess they have to release that stress somehow!

But our favorite reaction to the kiss is Jenna Ushkowitz’s (Tina): She was so excited to see them kiss that she was “screaming out loud.” She reveals that no one in the cast knew until they received their script that this would be the episode when the two would finally hook up, so when she realized it was going to happen, she said to herself, “Finally!” We couldn’t agree more.
