We've been fan-girling over Melissa Benoist (Marley) ever since she sashayed around McKinley High's stage as Sandy in Grease. Basically, we got chills, and they're multiplying.
This Glee starlet is a relatively new kid on the block, and she recently hit up The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson to dish on important things like her tattoos! So, how many tats does our girl Melissa have? "I have three," she tells Craig, pointing out her ankle and wrist ink. "I have one more on the back of my neck." Sigh, this girl is such a renegade!
Turns out Melissa has an adorable wolf on her wrist (because, duh, best tattoo ever), a mystery tattoo on her neck, and a bicycle on her foot! That's right a bicycle — but before you worry that Melissa might be a mega-hipster who welds thick-frame glasses in her free-time, fear not. She has a very specific reason for the bike tattoo.
"This is kinda embarrassing," she tells Craig. "I had never really learned how to ride a bicycle until I was 18 years old. And then I moved to New York City and that's where I learned to ride a bike. And it was liberating! And awesome!"
Turns out Melissa grew up in Colorado, a mysterious land where apparently people don't ride bikes. Who knew? And by the way, if you're wondering whether or not Melissa's tattoos were painful, the answer is hell yes. "They hurt really bad, and the one on the back of my neck hurt even more," she tells Craig.
Lesson learned? To avoid searing pain, only get tramp stamps.
