Guys. Guys. Guys. CALM DOWN.

The universe is not ending. Darren Criss (Blaine) still has a job on Glee. And he’ll be sticking around for many more episodes to come.

On October 4, the Glee star posted an emotional thank you letter to fans on his official Facebook page, and the tone and nature of the letter caused many people to wonder if this might just be Darren’s way of telling fans he’s been written off the show for good.

After all, his note did devote numerous paragraphs to thanking all his fans for their continued support throughout his career. Darren’s note looked back on his rise to fame, and to told fans he could have accomplished none of it without him. Could such a letter potentially be a goodbye note? Sure. But that doesn’t mean it that’s what it actually is.

Rest assured: Darren is still scheduled for plenty more Glee episodes this season. We’ve already seen photos of him in Glee Season 4, Episode 6, and we know that Season 4, Episode 7 will revolve around a new plot that features Blaine deciding whether or not he should return back to Dalton Academy and the Warblers.

Okay, we guess that in itself is a little bit upsetting. Technically, Blaine could run back to Dalton and never be seen on Glee ever again. But we’ve heard no official confirmation of any such a plan. And frankly, getting rid of an actor so beloved by fans just doesn’t seem smart.

Darren himself shot down the rumors by posting in the comments under his Facebook note, “”I guess it DOES sorta look like that, but no dude, it’s not my last episode. I just was feeling sorta sentimental is all.”

See that? Nothing to worry about. Our best guess: Darren’s probably just worried about the potential fallout if things get messy between Kurt and Blaine in Glee Season 4, Episode 4: “The Break-Up.”

And he want fans to know he loves, adores, and appreciates them. Message received, Darren. Message received loud and clear.
