We hope you cancelled your Valentine’s Day dinner plans.

Or at least, you should make sure sure you and your special someone are home from dinner by 9.p.m. Because Glee is airing an all new episode on Valentine’s Day — Thursday, February 14, 2013 — and you’re not going to want to miss it!

Now, some TV shows like to take the holidays off. But not Glee. Back in November, the show aired its superhero-filled “Dynamic Duets” episode on on Thanksgiving night. Now, its doing the exact same thing on Valentine’s Day.

Season 4, Episode 14: “I Do” will feature the long-awaited wedding between beloved McKinley high school teachers Will (Matthew Morrison) and Emma (Jayma Mays) — at least, we think it will!

Whatever the case, this episode promises lots of hookups, a “big wedding” and a “scandal.” So if you absolutely MUST spend time with your loved ones — and somehow value actual human interaction over the possibility of watching steamy, hot Finchel sex — then at least make time to DVR the episode or something.

And while Glee is on next week, the show actually will be missing from the FOX lineup the Thursday after. The would-have-been February 21 episode is preempted by American Idol, which is airing for two hours, instead of just one, that night.

In light of that — maybe your Valentine will be up for celebrating the holiday a week later? It probably wouldn’t hurt to ask. Because Glee is important! They’ll probably understand... right?
