Glee’s upcoming Season 4, Episode 16 is called “Feud,” and actress Jane Lynch has already revealed that one of the evening’s big fights will be between her character, Sue Sylvester, and Blaine (Darren Criss).
Yet just because Blaine and Sue are about to be locked in an epic battle, that doesn’t mean Jane and Darren share any such angst. In fact, Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Jane at Glee creator Ryan Murphy’s PaleyFest Icon Award ceremony on February 17, and the actress couldn’t stop gushing about her co-star.
We asked what it’s been like working with Darren — to which Jane enthusiastically replied, “The best!”
“Darren Criss is the nicest man on the planet,” she told us. “He's the most professional, fun, open-hearted, goofy — I love him, can't say enough.”
That said, she doesn’t exactly feel comfortable sharing specific stories of their fun times together on the set. “Lemme see, lemme see, lemme see. I can't tell you because they're too dirty. But we all talk dirty.”
Oh, to be a fly on the wall on the Glee set. Sigh.
In other Glee news, rumors have been flying that the show might cut out the Ohio storyline altogether, and move the entire thing to NYC.
However, Jane says she’s heard nothing about that so far. But if the show were to pick up and move to NYC, she’d love to see Sue Sylvester go along with it.
“I want to be on the show. So whatever that looks like, yeah!” she told us. And no matter where in the big city Sue would end up, Jane is confident that her character would flourish.
“Sue Sylvester can survive anything — she's like a rat. She'll be the last one alive.”
