We’ve known for a while that the deviously spectacular Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff) is headed back to Glee, and now the man himself is speaking out about his return!

At Monday’s Miscast Gala at NYC’s MCC Theater, Glee guest star Jonathan confirmed that the first ep of his multi-episode returning arc on the show is already complete.

“Yes, I just finished filming a new episode,” he told Celebuzz on Monday night. Although J-Groff has made a big move to Chicago in order to accommodate his recent casting in the second season of Starz’ Boss, he also confirmed he’ll be “going back and forth to shoot more” episodes at the Glee set in Los Angeles.

Hmmm! Just how much Jesse is in store for the rest of Season 3 – and what does it mean for our dear Finchel? Rachel (Lea Michele) and Jesse did used to date, after all. We wonder how he’ll deal with the news that his former GF is preparing to marry another man?

Jonathan stayed mum on specifics about his return to Glee, but he did offer up some ideas for what he’d like to do in the future. For one, he’d love to put on his tap dancing shoes! “I’ve had so much fun practicing, so I don’t want it to end after this [Miscast gala] event. It’s sad. I’ve done all this tapping – and now it’s over. I might as well put these tap dancing skills to good use.”
