Jonathan Groff Lands Another TV Show: Is He a Series Regular This Time?
Your TV is about to get a serious dose of Jonathan Groff, Gleeks!
No, we’re not yet talkin’ about the timeline of Jesse St. James’ return to Lima, Ohio (We wish! Soon! Hopefully!), and we’re not talkin’ about his guest-star role on The Good Wife – IMDB has that ep currently slated for February 19, btw! – but, instead, there’s a whole new role that’s just been confirmed!
Jonathan will be joining the cast of the Starz drama Boss for its second season, which debuts this fall.
Boss is the Golden Globe-nominated show that features Kelsey Grammar as the mayor of Chicago, Tom Kane, who’s diagnosed with a neurological disorder but keeps it a secret…and keeps his post! Dramaaa. We haven’t watched yet, but with the addition of Jonathan as one of Kane’s new staffers, well… you better believe we will be watching come season two!
In the meantime, don’t fret! There’s plenty of time for the return of Jesse St. James as the coach of Vocal Adrenaline! (Eeee!)
And as for any appearances past this season, well – keep in mind that season two of Boss is only set for ten episodes, so they won’t be keeping our dear J-Groff busy for too long… (We hope.)
