Kathy Griffin Headed to Glee
Uh-oh. As if Glee wasn’t controversial enough, it may have Sarah Palin and the Tea Party in its crosshairs. The show has been looking for a “Palin-type” to guest star in an upcoming episode, and now they’ve found their gal: Kathy Griffin!
The controversial D-lister will play Tammy Jean, “a middle-aged recent Tea Party candidate and home schooler” who will be a judge when New Directions heads to Regionals.
Griffin has her own history with the former governor. In an episode of her show, Life on the D-List, from last season, she traveled to Alaska to look for Palin — and ended up spending the entire trip with Palin’s daughter’s baby-daddy, Levi Johnston. As expected, jabs abound.
In the same swirl of casting news, it’s said that Grey’s Anatomy star Loretta Devine will play Sister Mary Constance, a hooker-turned-Carmelite nun. Sounds like a Sister Act spoof to us! Get excited...
