Glee’s Cory Monteith (Finn) recently revealed that he’s “kind of always” had feelings for his co-star/girlfriend Lea Michele (Rachel). Yet though Cory and Lea have been playing love interests on Glee for four seasons, they’ve actually been dating for a much shorter period of time.

The first reports of Lea and Cory’s blossoming romance came as recently as February 2012, when the two were spotted on a romantic Valentine’s date in Los Angeles.

"They were into each other all night," an eyewitness told Life and Style at the time. "She was very happy, flirting and touching Cory a lot. He just stared at her with puppy-dog eyes." Yet reps for Cory and Lea declined to respond when asked it the two were dating.

Of course, there had been rumors of a possible Cory-Lea romance ever since Lea ended things with her ex-boyfriend, Theo Stockman, in September 2011, but this Valentine’s Day dinner date was the first solid proof.

Over the next few months, the couple took plenty of trips together, including a romantic vacation in Cabo, but they didn’t display any actual PDA until May 2012 — when the two were spotted kissing at a hockey game in New York City.

Now, as 2012 is coming to a close, Cory and Lea’s one-year anniversary is just months away (and for all we know, possibly sooner.) We can only hope that 2013 will bring just as many sweet exchanges and cute couple moments as 2012!
