Glee's Lea Michele (Rachel) and Cory Monteith (Finn) are the cutest celebrity couple in Hollywood, and that's including the adorableness that is Michelle Williams and Jason Segel (oh, wait...nevermind, sob).
As we all know, Lea and Cory met on the set of Glee and started dating at the beginning of 2012, and it turns out the show's creator, Ryan "Professional Cupid" Murphy, is responsible for them getting together!
"Yes, I would definitely say he is my matchmaker for sure," Lea told E! during the PaleyFest Icon Award presentation in Beverly Hills (where Ryan was being honored). Awww, how adorable! We love that Ryan was so supportive of Lea and Cory's love connection — on and off screen!
"I directed them in their first scene together and they had that sort of chemistry that you can't fake, and I said, 'Uh-oh,'" Murphy said. "So I did kind of know. I take credit."
OMG, Ryan Murphy for all the awards! If this whole "creating amazing TV shows" thing doesn't work out, he definitely has a job in matchmaking! Sigh, Lea and Cory are so meant to be — much like us and our cardboard cutout of Blaine (Darren Criss).
Although, side-note: we wish Ryan's cupid-y efforts on Glee would be as successful as his efforts in real life. If Blaine and Kurt (Chris Colfer) don't make it official after hiatus we might suffer some kind of emotional breakdown. At least that's what our therapist told us.
