There’s just a week and a half until Lea Michele’s big (non-Glee) showing in New Year’s Eve — it hits theatres on December 9 — but there’s plenty of cause to celebrate now as Lea will be featured on not one but TWO tracks on the film’s soundtrack.

The TV/Broadway/movie star will be rubbing elbows with the rock elite with her guest spot on co-star Jon Bon Jovi’s  “Can’t Turn You Loose.” But MOST exciting is her solo track at number eight, a cover of the holiday classic “Auld Lang Syne”! Not bad for her first foray into movie land.

The soundtrack is set for release December 6, which also marks a big day for her Glee persona, Rachel, whose New Directions will be having another (scandal-filled) run at Sectionals.

In other words, fellow Gleeks, get ready for a busy week!
