Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) has been blowing us away with her gorgeous voice for four seasons of Glee, so it's about time she hit the studio and recorded an album! This gal is currently hard at work on her debut solo project, and we couldn't be more excited — especially since one of the singles is more than a little sexy!
"Lets get this day going!" Lea tweeted on March 1st. "Back in the studio with @KukHarrell! Recording a super sexy song today:)"
Um, consider us floored. We're thrilled that Lea is working with Kuk — not only is he a four time Grammy Award-winning producer (and Golden Globe nominee!), he's worked with the likes of Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J Blige and Justin Bieber.
In fact, Kuk produced Rihanna's "Umbrella," not to mention Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," and Beyonce's "Single Ladies." Yep, we're thinking Lea's album is going to be a smash hit!
So, what else can we expect from this gal's debut? The Glee pop star has been working with everyone from Australian singer Sia to Katy Perry’s songwriter, and she’s already revealed that her album will be filled with upbeat “power-girl” tunes.
“I want to make songs where girls can just roll down the windows of their car or dance around in their rooms in their underwear, like, ‘I hate my ex-boyfriend!’ or ‘I’m so in love,'” she gushed.
Um, guys? We're pretty sure Justin Timberlake should step to the left, because Lea's bringing sexy back!
