If you were worried that Lea Michele (Rachel) wouldn’t be able to hold her own against stars like Ashton Kutcher on the big screen, don’t be. Lea’s New Year’s Eve director has nothing but praise for the Glee starlet.
“Lea is just terrific,” Garry Marshall told Broadway.com. Marshall also assures fans that Lea will get to exercise her singing chops in the film as a backup singer named Elise. And who might she lending her vocals to? An artist named “Jensen,” played by — wait for it — Jon Bon
Hottie Jovi. The pair even have a duet! "It's quite a number," teases Marshall.
As for her chemistry with Kutcher, with whom Lea shares an enviable kissing scene, Marshall says that the two have great chemistry. “They’re really terrific together.” And though there’s a significant height difference between the two actors, Marshall notes, “[S]he has some nice high heels!” We’d expect nothing less from one of People’s Best Dressed.
