If you totally lost it — tears, anger, inconsolable weeping — after Finn (Cory Monteith) suddenly broke off his engagement with Rachel (Lea Michele) during Glee’s Season 3 finale this spring, then you might want to stop reading this article.
No, seriously. Step away from the Internet. Because you are not going to like what you’re about to read.
Lea Michele recently spoke with TV Line about what’s to come in Glee Season 4, Episode 5: “The Break-Up,” and she says that Finn and Rachel are headed for another scene that is just as heartbreaking. “Well that car scene was like — but Cory and I have another scene coming up too that was like — before we went to work that day I was like ‘I don’t want to do this,’” Lea tells the site.
“Like oh my god, I was listening to the sad music, I was like no, just please, I don’t wanna do it.”
We’ve seen photos of a very tear-filled Finchel fight at a park in New York City. Considering that No Doubt’s breakup tune, “Don’t Speak,” is playing in the background, we have a feeling that this just might be the scene she’s talking about.
Finn and Rachel aren’t the only ones whose relationships fall into serious peril, however. “If you are a Klaine fan, or a [Santittany/Brittana] fan or a Finchel fan, get your tissues out. I’m not saying what happens with anything, cause it could work out, but it’s a whirlwind, that’s for sure.”
At the end of the day, Lea says she’s excited just to have the whole thing over with. “Screw that episode, like let’s get it over with. I am so…like no more. Like that episode was like the most draining episode in the world.”
