Is there ever a good time for a dog to pee in your lap? We think not, but as Glee’s Lea Michele (Rachel) learned, there are times when it’s extra unfortunate for it to happen.

Lea appeared on The Tonight Show on NBC on November 12, and she mentioned that she’s been giving spray tans a try lately. "I had gotten a spray tan which is this new thing [for me] because I decided the sun is bad. You can't wash it off for like eight hours or something.”

However, things didn’t go as planned after a recent tanning session. Lea was in the recording studio, having just gotten a tan applied, when a manager’s dog jumped up on her lap. "I was like, 'Oh, it's so cute!' And the dog peed all over me, which wouldn't have been so bad I wiped it off. But because I didn't wipe off the spray tan yet, it left pee streaks all over my legs.”

And a reminder of the incident lingered for quite some time. “For days, I had these zebra-stripes pee marks on my leg!" Lea says. "I had to try to go home and scrub it off and take baths with lemons. It's just now coming off!"

Apparently, the life of a Hollywood star is not as glamorous as it seems! The lesson here: The next time you get a spray tan, make sure to stay away from cute little dogs, as tempting as they might be.
